I really wanted to like this- tennis with a speculative twist…sign me up! …except it was a little too much tennis, and too little magic. I had a hard time getting into the characters, and the pacing of their relationship. I liked the idea of them being from different countries, but apart from being told certain things, I didn’t feel the international influence. The big group of sisters was fun. Cool idea, but missed the mark for me in the end.

Short summary: all that matters to Juliette is winning at tennis. So it’s particularly infuriating when the woman she has to beat turns out to be her soulmate…
