Another Sutton and Charlotte story…but make it second chance?! Sign me all the way up. I dare you to go to bed on time with a Haley Cass book in your hand—not possible. The chemistry, the longing, the romance! This one isn’t exactly a stand alone- while the story is its own (it’s not an epilogue), much of it is based on the first 70% of Those Who Wait and it also follows The Snowball Effect. I love the author’s masterful way with interiority that pulls you in so deep..but it did get to be a lot and sometimes redundant as the book went on. There were times I wanted to be in scene rather than a memory of a scene. But apart from that I was so engrossed. I loved Lucy, she was spot on and really entertaining. It was also fun to see Regan and Emma. And, I’m keeping all my fingers crossed for Autumn and Maya’s story!

Short summary: It’s been 13 years since they broke up, but all her feelings for Sutton come rushing back when Charlotte sees her across the room at an event.
